Cultural Impact
The history of a country can affect culture in many ways. It instills memories and affects the actions of the population long after the historical events have taken place. Populations typically learn how to live successfully, what to believe, and what to avoid. The history of North Korea has not really had the same effect as it would in most countries. Because of the political system, much of the history of North Korea has been based off of war, drought, and other unfortunate circumstances. The establishment of uniformity and independence has lead to a history that consists of a lot of suffering. This has culturally affected North Korea as it has created a seemingly emotionless, strict culture in which every citizen seems to share a culture. The culture that is witnessed in north Korea very much reflects the misfortune of the countries history.
